2008 has been a good year for Lovebirds, the solo project of Hamburg resident Sebastian ‘Basti’ Doering. A handful of excellent 12"releases on Winding Road, Freerange, Buzzin Fly and Glossy was received by the global deep house and neo-disco community with open arms. If you wanna find out why artists like Tom Middleton, Jimpster, Prins Thomas or Ashley Beedle are huge Lovebirds fans check this show from January 2008. After getting stucked due to bad weather conditions on oslo airport the first date, most beloved disco-man Todd Terje finally made it to hamburg the second time. He was fine with passing by the Beta Lounge before he went on to the "i feel this" basement session that night.
