I was lucky enough to be playing at a very small cocktail lounge in Toronto when my friends realised that Kevin Yost was sitting at one of the tables. It was a really hot summer nite, and somebody drove him to his hotel to get his records, and he came back & played a killer set for us out of the blue. . .so he’s one of my favourite DJ’s for that reason alone. He gets as deep as possible while staying almost strictly house.
It’s a blessing to be able to come back to this site after all these years and queue this set up for shits and giggles… proper tunes. Jakes MC runnin’ it!
